Settings Overview

All user preferences in MoovMail — from the inbox gear icon or /settings.

Open settings from the gear icon in the inbox header (embedded panel) or visit /settings for the standalone page. Changes in General, Security, and preferences save automatically.

General

Profile photoUpload or remove avatar (max 5 MB).
TimezoneAll mail timestamps display in this zone.
LanguageUI language — 19 locales including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
Emails per pageList page size in the inbox.
Undo SendDelay before mail is actually sent (0–30 s).
Desktop notificationsBrowser pop-ups for new inbox mail.
Vacation responderAuto-reply with subject, message, and date range.
SignatureRich HTML signature appended to outgoing mail.
Read receiptsRequest read confirmation on mail you send.

Accounts and Import/Export

  • Send mail as — default From address.
  • Default reply behavior — reply-all vs reply to sender only.
  • Mailbox import/export — import PST, MBOX, or EML; export an archive of your mailbox.

Visual rule builder for incoming mail. See Inbox → Mail rules.

Mail Config (Forwarding, POP, IMAP)

  • Forwarding — forward a copy of incoming mail; choose keep, archive, or delete in MoovMail.
  • POP download — enable POP for all mail or from now on; choose what happens to server copy.
  • IMAP access — enable IMAP for Outlook, Thunderbird, mobile clients; configure expunge and folder limits.

Chat and Video Calls

Toggles for chat integration and showing the video calls option. Video meetings use MoovCall when your plan includes it (see Calendar guide).

Offline Mail Setup

  • Enable offline cache of recent mail.
  • Include or exclude attachments in sync.
  • Clear cached mail, offline drafts, and queued outbox items.

Manage Storage Quota

View mailbox vs file storage usage and rebalance split within your plan total. Open the full manager at /storage-quota.

Email Templates

Create, edit, and delete templates for use in compose.

Security

Password change, two-factor authentication, recovery email/phone, and app passwords for mail clients. See Security & 2FA.

Message translation preferences

When reading mail in another language, you can translate once, always translate that language, or never translate it. Preferences are stored per account.
