Compose & Send
Write, reply, forward, schedule, and undo sent messages.
Starting a new message
- Click Compose in the inbox sidebar, or press the compose shortcut if enabled.
- Enter To, optional Cc / Bcc, and Subject.
- Write in the rich-text editor — bold, lists, links, images, and tables are supported.
- Drag files onto the compose window or use the attach button.
- Click Send.
Reply and forward
- Reply — respond to the sender with quoted history (configurable in Settings).
- Reply All — include all recipients.
- Forward — send the message to new recipients with original headers.
Default reply behavior (reply-all vs sender-only, include history) is set under Settings → Accounts.
Undo Send
After sending, a toast appears for a short window allowing you to Undo. Configure the delay in Settings → General → Undo Send (0–30 seconds, or off for immediate send). Undone messages return to Drafts.
Schedule send
From the send menu, choose Schedule send, pick a future date and time, and confirm. Scheduled messages appear in the Scheduled folder until they are delivered. Past times are not allowed.
Drafts and outbox
- Save draft — stores the message in Drafts (server-side, or offline when offline mode is on).
- Outbox — if send fails (network or SMTP), mail moves here. Fix the issue and use Retry Send.
Signatures
Set a rich HTML signature in Settings → General → Signature. Choose none or custom. Images are supported.
Email templates
Create reusable templates in Settings → Email Templates and insert them while composing.
Read receipts
Enable Request read receipts in Settings → General. Recipients may choose whether to send a receipt when they open your mail.
Message recall
For sent messages to internal MoovMail recipients, you can Recall from the message actions menu. External recipients receive a recall notice they can ignore.
Directory autocomplete
When typing addresses in To/Cc/Bcc, MoovMail suggests users from your organization directory.
Block sender
From an open message, use Block sender to stop future mail from that address.
