DKIM Setup

Sign outgoing email so recipients can verify it was not altered in transit.

What is DKIM?

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) adds a cryptographic signature to each message. Receiving servers check the signature against a public key published in your DNS.

MoovMail DKIM record

  1. Open Admin → Domain or /dns-setup.
  2. Copy the DKIM TXT record shown for your domain.
  3. Add it at your DNS provider. Host/name is typically moovmail._domainkey or as shown in the panel.
  4. Paste the full TXT value exactly — it is long and must match character-for-character.
  5. Save and wait for propagation (often 1–24 hours).
  6. Click Verify in MoovMail.

Tips

  • Only one DKIM TXT record per selector name — do not duplicate.
  • If migrating from another provider, you may keep old selectors until cutover or replace with MoovMail's selector.
  • DKIM works together with SPF and DMARC.
